As a travel company, our top priority is ensuring guests satisfaction. However, we also strive to support our hosts in reaching their highest potential. As summer approaches, we sponsored a 5-day trip to Ho Chi Minh City for our two best hosts, Mina and Kien. They will partake in historical, coffee, and cultural local experiences in the city. We hope this trip will enhance their storytelling skills! With more personal experiences, they’ll be able to share even more fascinating stories with our guests. Kien is thrilled about exploring the city of Saigon.<\/p>

Mina mentioned that Ho Chi Minh City is extremely hot at this time (So true!!!). So, she will join the trip in July, after her birthday party. One of our exceptional team members, Yen, is currently in charge of tour operations. Yen has been sponsored for a 2-month online course from Coursera to learn about tour operations, with support from our real-life examples.<\/p>

Quang is about to start his leadership course next month. Meanwhile, Cong is busy with his MBA program and is about to travel to Leipzig, Germany for university (for one year). Our former team member, Hoang Anh, has just received the exciting news that she won the prestigious Erasmus Mundus. She will be studying in three different European countries. And, our newest team member, Thu Trang, won a scholarship to join a training program at a college in Singapore for two weeks. How exciting!<\/p>

That’s all for now. Our team is enthusiastically participating in many activities and preparing for a busy season ahead!<\/p>

During what is typically considered the quiet or low season this summer, our dedicated team has decided to shift its focus towards two primary areas: enhancing our training activities and further developing our website and blog. We are investing countless hours into meticulously crafting blog posts that not only offer valuable advice for travelers who are planning to visit Vietnam, but also help them uncover and appreciate the hidden gems and best features that this beautiful country has to offer. We take immense pride in fostering a learning environment where our team members can learn from each other. This is achieved by shadowing subject matter experts and sharing their unique stories, thereby enhancing our collective storytelling skills and strengthening our team’s bond.<\/p>

In addition, we have some exciting news to share. We have the honour of welcoming a tourism student from the prestigious National University of Economics in Hanoi who will be joining our team as an intern. We are thrilled about this opportunity to share our knowledge and experiences with the future generation of tourism professionals. As we continue to grow and learn together, we hope that everyone has a fantastic summer!<\/p>

Our amazing host, Mina, just spent an incredible week in Ho Chi Minh City through a special discovery program by Onetrip with local that let her explore the city with a local guide. During her stay, Mina had the chance to dive into the local culture with an authentic coffee experience hosted by a friendly Saigonese resident. She also visited some awesome landmarks like the Museum of Fine Arts, the War Remnants Museum<\/a>, and the Independence Palace. One of the coolest parts of her trip was a day excursion to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels. Luckily, the weather during Mina’s visit was much milder compared to the scorching heat our other host, Kien, faced when he visited. After this enriching trip, we’re excited to see Mina enhance her storytelling skills and share even more fascinating experiences with our guests.
