The Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi, Vietnam is dedicated to the life and achievements of Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh and the country’s revolutionary struggle against foreign powers.

The museum houses a vast collection of documents and artifacts that document Ho Chi Minh’s life, as well as the cultural and revolutionary heritage that the late president left behind.

The museum is constructed in the shape of a lotus flower and consists of eight chronological exhibitions that cover key periods in Ho Chi Minh’s life, from his upbringing to his pursuit of independence for Vietnam.

Admission to the museum costs 40,000 VND per person, and it is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

However, visitors can head to the local market opposite the museum to sample local food and interact with the “real” locals.

The museum house symbolizes a lotus flower nearly 20m high with a usable area of 13,000m2, of which more than 4,000m2 is for display. In addition, the museum also has a 400m2 exhibition space, where various thematic exhibitions and cultural activities are held.
