She gave an excellent tour filled with historical facts, a good amount of walking but also built in breaks, and really helped me get a feel of the city and it’s history. Oh, I couldn't recommend more! I went for the French Quarter tour. Tony is very knowledgeable, friendly and what's great his English is perfect. Sometimes it's hard to communicate with people because of the different accents, but that's not the case. And in the end, Tony give me a list of recommendations on where to eat. I really enjoyed the tour and felt very comfortable emotionally. Tony, thank you a lot.

Mina was a wonderful host. We actually ended up taking her tour bc we had such a bad food tour (separately) the day before that we just had to make up for it! What Mina brought to the table for me was storytelling and the plug into the local culture i was looking for! It was comprehensive not just of the old quarter but also neighboring areas (including stopping by the exterior of the Metropole Hotel & Opera House). I particularly liked the local ice cream shop she took us to :)

Just to clarify first, will you be arriving at the airport at 11:30 AM, or arriving at your hotel at that time? The waiting time at the airport and the journey into the city can take quite a while, so this will help us advise you better.
Your hotel is conveniently located between West Lake and the Old Quarter. It takes around 30 minutes to get to our meeting point, so if you can be at the meeting point for the French Quarter tour at 2 PM (it's in front of the St Joseph's Catheral Church), that would be ideal! Otherwise if you arrive to Hanoi from the airport at 11:30 AM, we recommend joining the 6 PM tour. This works especially well for our food tour (vegan options are also available).
For the next day, we’d highly recommend our French Quarter tour and the Vietnam War stories tour to get a deeper understanding of the city.

Regarding the schedule, I think it is the best to join us at 2 PM as the traffic in the morning can be heavy. It should take you at least one hour to get to your hotel from the Old Quarter.

I’m really grateful for the service and definitely no regrets at all. It was actually my lucky day because I ended up being the only one on the tour with Thea. She’s super welcoming and easy to talk to, so it never felt awkward. It was a bit tough at first because it was raining, but the rain stopped midway and everything went smoothly after that. As a solo traveler, I was really happy with the experience. I had great company and learned a lot about Vietnam. Highly recommend this, especially if it’s your first time in Vietnam!
