I enjoyed that she was able to share personal stories of hers or other locals and did not limit herself to what you could find in guide books. The coffee and ice cream were both excellent, and provided a good respite from the heat. If you are debating booking this, just do it!! You'll have a great time.

She gave an excellent tour filled with historical facts, a good amount of walking but also built in breaks, and really helped me get a feel of the city and it’s history. She brought us to this amazing coffee shop and I went back 3 different times while I was in Hanoi 😅 Absolutely recommend booking this tour with Mina!
Oh, I couldn't recommend more! I went for the French Quarter tour. Tony is very knowledgeable, friendly and what's great his English is perfect. Sometimes it's hard to communicate with people because of the different accents, but that's not the case. And in the end, Tony give me a list of recommendations on where to eat. I really enjoyed the tour and felt very comfortable emotionally. Tony, thank you a lot.

Mina was a wonderful host. We actually ended up taking her tour bc we had such a bad food tour (separately) the day before that we just had to make up for it! What Mina brought to the table for me was storytelling and the plug into the local culture i was looking for! It was comprehensive not just of the old quarter but also neighboring areas (including stopping by the exterior of the Metropole Hotel & Opera House). I particularly liked the local ice cream shop she took us to :)

Regarding the schedule, I think it is the best to join us at 2 PM as the traffic in the morning can be heavy. It should take you at least one hour to get to your hotel from the Old Quarter.
