🍄 Meeting point: 72 Hang Bac St (Old Quarter)
“Really insightful, interesting and fun tour! Cong is a wonderful guide! He knows the area super well and is passionate about showing people around. We would not have discovered any of the places by ourselves so the tour was definitely worth it. Highly recommended! Thanks, Cong!” – Clara, November 2022
“Cong was an excellent tour guide and source of local knowledge on Hanoi. My husband and I only had one evening in Hanoi, so decided to do this tour to cram as much history and insight as we could in as short a time as possible. Cong did not disappoint. He took us to places we would never have found on our own, while intersecting our stops with a historical perspective and some lovely personal touches along the way to make our evening memorable. Really recommend this walking tour as a great way to see Hanoi quickly and still feel as if you have got a sense of the city.” – Tasha, October 2022

4 Reasons Our Hidden Hanoi Old Quarter Tour is Unique
Our tour is led by young, local guides who are passionate about the history and culture of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
They will share with you the hidden gems, stories, and legends of this vibrant city. You’ll gain insight into the culture and history of the area, and learn about the unique stories and legends that make Hanoi so special.
We will discover the “good” and the “bad” sides of Hanoi Old Quarter
We visited the highest rooftop bar in the Old Quarter to watch the overview of the city. Our tour also included a visit to a local Vietnamese art cafe, which was once where the local artists met back in the 1990s. Then, we visited the local doughnut shop run by an old lady. And we explored the smallest and longest alley in the Old Town, learning about the real life of local people. You would be surprised at how they can live in such a tiny space in the city centre!
Be curious during the tour
We usually get together in a small group of 4-6 people. This helps create an open environment for discussing and asking questions. Our host is always happy to answer any questions you have. So don’t be shy – reach out and ask away! Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation and share their ideas. We’re excited to talk with you all!
The experience is hosted by Young Vietnamese locals
Our hosts are passionate, young Vietnamese locals, providing an authentic and unique experience. We are eager to share our stories with the world, so that you will leave with a greater understanding of the vibrant country and its people.
Hanoi Will Leave a Lasting Impression!
At the end of the tour, you will have a newfound appreciation for the beautiful city of Hanoi, a city that hides beneath the surface of the bustling metropolis. From the history, to the culture, to the architecture, Hanoi is a city with an abundance of treasures that will be revealed to you as you explore. My guide Diep is super friendly. We had a good conversation about life in Vietnam, especially living in Hanoi. Our first stop at a rooftop café provided an amazing view of the city. And I enjoyed trying an egg coffee for the first time. Especially want to think my guide for walking me back to my residence, which was very kind of him.

Insightful tour discovering places we would not have found on our own.
Also great spending time getting to Cong.
Sampling the delicious sweet and savoury donuts straight from the woman’s stall and a drink on the top floor of a hotel with views over the city were both unexpected bonuses.

Really amazing experience to immerse yourself in Vietnam’s culture. Quang was a great storyteller and toured us around in spots that we wouldn’t have found on our own.
