We got to try out a lot of dishes that were more commonly eaten by the local, and we also walked through the hidden alleyway and saw some of the housing due to history(which was one of the main highlights for me.)
I had a great time with Kien! It was just me so it felt like a tour with a friend. Although it was a food tour I also learned a lot about Vietnamese history and culture, which was my goal.
The food was also delicious and unique (to me). Halfway through I was so full, I could barely eat more but we still trekked on and he made sure I got to at least taste everything. I even went home with leftovers. Definitely go HUNGRY.
This tour was a great way to get introduced to the Old Quarter. Plus I loved learning that this company does their best to give back to the community. I definitely recommend!

Amazing tour! One of the best food tours I have taken. Angelina was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start of the tour. We ate several different dishes throughout Hanoi and she explained some of the cultural and economic landscape of the city. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re unfamiliar with Vietnamese food and want to try some different options.
This was a great experience for us as it was our first full day in Hanoi! The guide, Minh, was so friendly and brought us to many many yummy food places! The food was really suited to our tastes 💕 we even went back a few days later!
I had the delightful opportunity to embark on Cong's Night Food Tour in Hanoi, and it was nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. The tour takes you on a journey through the bustling streets of Hanoi at night, showcasing the vibrant food scene that this city is famous for. Must try if you are in Hanoi!
A fun experience where we tried many kinds of items we would have missed otherwise, like the chicken with sticky rice and local beer. I was also fascinated by the living conditions of the old quarter's residents. Our guide also chatted with us about local culture. There's an itinerary so it might feel a bit stiff at times, but it was good overall.

We took the 2pm local food tour with Pinky, who was an excellent guide on a hot, humid July afternoon. She was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour (think other people were smart enough to book a morning or evening tour when the heat and humidity were less intense). The silver lining was that it was like going around with a friend. Pinky spoke excellent English so communication was easy. She brought us to plenty of local eating places that we wouldn’t have found on our own. This was helpful, as we then had a better idea of what was available and how to order the local food. We were very full after the tour. Pinky explained local customs, answered questions and provided a local’s perspective on Hanoi. It was a good experience and highly recommended.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful and detailed review!
We are so glad to hear that Pinky was an excellent guide for you, especially on a hot and humid July afternoon. It’s fantastic that the private tour felt like exploring Hanoi with a friend—that’s the best kind of “silver lining”!
We’re thrilled she introduced you to local spots you wouldn’t have found on your own and that her perspective was helpful for understanding our food and culture.
We have passed your kind words on to Pinky. Thank you again for the high recommendation!

We had an exceptional time on the Hanoi Street Food and Hidden Path tour with our guide Pinky. The food was delicious and we tried things we never would have before or understood what to order. Pinky is a true local and is passionate about sharing authentic culture of Hanoi. Her English is fantastic and she is very knowledgeable. We unexpectedly had the tour to ourselves. Fantastic value for money.

I loved the tour with Ha Vy. I discovered a lot of delicious food I would never have tried by myself. Surprisingly delicious food that offen came with a story. I had a great time and would really recommend to anyone to go on the Tour.

We had a fabulous time with Vy last night exploring the streets of the old quarter and tasting as we went. Vy was a delight – it was like sharing the evening with our Daughter. Not only did she take us to best places to eat, but she was also happy to tell us about her life in Hanoi and her culture as well. We tried lots of new food and learnt some tips along the way about eating in Hanoi.
