Our team is proud to have supported the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. Blue Dragon rescues and provides holistic support for homeless kids and victims of human trafficking in Vietnam.
In May, we received an email announcing an Emergency Appeal from Blue Dragon. While we wish we could have done more to help, we did our best to provide support. However, the summer season is typically slow for us in terms of running tours and services for international travelers. Despite this, we came up with the idea to run a charity Food Walking Tour to raise additional funds for Blue Dragon. We believe it will be a perfect opportunity to connect with the community and share delicious food, while also giving back at the end of the day.
Details:
Join us to taste 10 different yummy dishes while discovering the unknown parts of the Old Quarter. We will start the tour with Banh da ca, followed by Ca cuon thit, Banh ran, Nom Bo kho, tra chanh, nuoc mia, bun bo, Banh mi Hai Phong, and we will finish the tour with dessert Kem xoi. It may seem like a lot, but we have many stops in between, including the smallest alley (and smallest house) in Hanoi (I’m sure you haven’t seen this one) and many more.
Vegan and vegetarian options are available, so please let us know in advance.
Each ticket is sold at 250,000 VND ($11) per person, and the food costs about 130,000 VND per person. All of the “profit” from the tour will be donated directly to Blue Dragon.
