OTwL ‘s updates
After a busy and rewarding season, our two top hosts have been awarded memorable trips to further develop their skills by exploring other cities and joining different tours.
Last year, Kien and Mina traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, where they learned a great deal. After the trip, both had many new stories to share with guests鈥攅specially about the cultural differences between the North and South of Vietnam. They also deepened their knowledge of colonial history and the context of the Vietnam War, enriching their storytelling on tours.

This summer, we are still deciding where to go. The top options are Da Nang, Hoi An, or Phu Quoc鈥攅ach offering exciting learning opportunities.

Our outstanding operator, Yen, has also grown tremendously and has been awarded a journey of her own. Yen is the hero behind the scenes鈥攇racefully managing all situations and serving as a crucial bridge between guests and hosts.

馃専 Milestones & Growth
We are thrilled to have celebrated over 500 reviews in just three months鈥攁 testament to the hard work and passion of our team!

Summer is typically a quieter period, making it the perfect time for skill development. Through our partnership with Onetripwithlocal, hosts are encouraged to take online courses on Coursera, with recommended topics such as:
- Communication
- Intercultural Understanding
- World History
馃尭 Rising Star: Thu Hong (aka Pinky)
One of our fastest-growing hosts this quarter is Pinky, also known as Thu Hong. She joined us full of enthusiasm but unsure about what stories to share with guests. After completing her training, her guiding and storytelling skills improved significantly. Guests often describe her as thoughtful and engaging in their reviews.

Starting this spring, Thu Hong has also taken on a new role as our photographer, capturing beautiful moments on tour through photos and videos鈥攕omething she truly enjoys.
