I had a great time with Kien! It was just me so it felt like a tour with a friend. Although it was a food tour I also learned a lot about Vietnamese history and culture, which was my goal.
The food was also delicious and unique (to me). Halfway through I was so full, I could barely eat more but we still trekked on and he made sure I got to at least taste everything. I even went home with leftovers. Definitely go HUNGRY.
This tour was a great way to get introduced to the Old Quarter. Plus I loved learning that this company does their best to give back to the community. I definitely recommend!

We ate several different dishes throughout Hanoi and she explained some of the cultural and economic landscape of the city. This was a great experience for us as it was our first full day in Hanoi! The guide, Minh, was so friendly and brought us to many many yummy food places! The food was really suited to our tastes 💕 we even went back a few days later!

Absolutely, we can definitely host you on the tour. A lot of fantastic Vietnamese food is naturally gluten-free since it's rice-based, so you'll have plenty of delicious options to enjoy. We will take a note for the host so she/he will make sure that the foods are safe for you. However please be aware that some options like banh ran (local doughnuts) are not gluten-free but the host will let you know.

We try about 8-9 local dishes, but there are also many hidden spots to explore. We will have a good time walking around, so there's no need to worry about getting too full. While some dishes are larger, there are also small doughnuts and drinks available.

He has an amazing personality as well and makes sure you get way over your moneys worth. It was so nice to go to all the restaurants and have everything taken care of.
