I had a great time with Kien! It was just me so it felt like a tour with a friend. Although it was a food tour I also learned a lot about Vietnamese history and culture, which was my goal.
The food was also delicious and unique (to me). Halfway through I was so full, I could barely eat more but we still trekked on and he made sure I got to at least taste everything. I even went home with leftovers. Definitely go HUNGRY.
This tour was a great way to get introduced to the Old Quarter. Plus I loved learning that this company does their best to give back to the community. I definitely recommend!

We ate several different dishes throughout Hanoi and she explained some of the cultural and economic landscape of the city. We try about 8-9 local dishes, but there are also many hidden spots to explore. We will have a good time walking around, so there's no need to worry about getting too full. While some dishes are larger, there are also small doughnuts and drinks available.

This was a fantastic trip and great value. Thuy was a fantastic storyteller, warm, personable, and introduced us to delicious food (as well as some Buddhist temples with added history). We ate like the locals and it was delicious. I felt like I got to know the Old Quarter and the fact that Ha Noi food is different from Ho Chi Minh food (also a great Airbnb tour). Highly recommended!
