We got to try out a lot of dishes that were more commonly eaten by the local, and we also walked through the hidden alleyway and saw some of the housing due to history(which was one of the main highlights for me.)
I had a great time with Kien! It was just me so it felt like a tour with a friend. Although it was a food tour I also learned a lot about Vietnamese history and culture, which was my goal.
The food was also delicious and unique (to me). Halfway through I was so full, I could barely eat more but we still trekked on and he made sure I got to at least taste everything. I even went home with leftovers. Definitely go HUNGRY.
This tour was a great way to get introduced to the Old Quarter. Plus I loved learning that this company does their best to give back to the community. I definitely recommend!

Amazing tour! One of the best food tours I have taken. Angelina was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start of the tour. We ate several different dishes throughout Hanoi and she explained some of the cultural and economic landscape of the city. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re unfamiliar with Vietnamese food and want to try some different options.
This was a great experience for us as it was our first full day in Hanoi! The guide, Minh, was so friendly and brought us to many many yummy food places! The food was really suited to our tastes 💕 we even went back a few days later!
I had the delightful opportunity to embark on Cong's Night Food Tour in Hanoi, and it was nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. The tour takes you on a journey through the bustling streets of Hanoi at night, showcasing the vibrant food scene that this city is famous for. Must try if you are in Hanoi!
A fun experience where we tried many kinds of items we would have missed otherwise, like the chicken with sticky rice and local beer. I was also fascinated by the living conditions of the old quarter's residents. Our guide also chatted with us about local culture. There's an itinerary so it might feel a bit stiff at times, but it was good overall.

Yen was the best! She took us all around the old quarter. She taught us so many interesting facts about the history and culture of Hanoi. She took us for AMAZING food and told us all about the food we were eating. She was also careful to work around my dietary restrictions. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Hanoi and see the quarter through a local view, all while eating incredible food 🙂

I am so glad to have had Vu as my guide on this food tour, as the experience expertly weaved together intimate storytelling, historical spots, and delicious food!! It was clear from the interactions with the vendors and people on the street that Vu is someone with deep roots in Hanoi. There were spots that I never would have discovered on my own, and I’m so glad to have had such a thoughtful and kindhearted guide. Big thank you again!!

This was a fantastic trip and great value. Thuy was a fantastic storyteller, warm, personable, and introduced us to delicious food (as well as some Buddhist temples with added history). We ate like the locals and it was delicious. I felt like I got to know the Old Quarter and the fact that Ha Noi food is different from Ho Chi Minh food (also a great Airbnb tour). Highly recommended!
There were sugar cane drinks, local beer, different kinds of noodles and delicious donuts and sticky rice ice cream.
