Expanding Our Blog

In other exciting news, we’re planning to expand our blog to include content in German. This will provide more information about Vietnam and Hanoi for our German-speaking audience. If this project is successful, we plan to expand further to include French and Spanish content as well.

Team Journeys

Our team members are always on the move, exploring new places and gaining new experiences. Yen is currently in Hue, participating in the Journey to the Vietnamese Heritage program with her college. This initiative helps future tour guides enhance their skills and deepen their understanding of Vietnamese history and culture.

Cu Minh Anh is enjoying a volunteering trip in Indonesia, and our big sister, Huyen, has just returned from her adventurous summer trip to Indonesia, where she spent a lot of time hiking. Meanwhile, Cong is preparing for his year-long journey to Leipzig, Germany. He plans to travel extensively and bring back fresh, creative ideas to Vietnam.

September marks the beginning of the school year in Vietnam. Our Green Elephant project sent children’s books for kids in Dak Lak. These books are famous Vietnamese titles suitable for their ages, thanks to funds donated by our guests and from OneTrip with local’s fund. We also sent them lovely postcards wishing them all the best for this new school year.

The English classes are currently on summer break. Once Cong moves to Germany and finds a suitable schedule (the class had been going on for 2 years every Tuesday at 7:30 PM), it will need to change a bit due to the time zone difference. Cong will continue to teach again

Previously, we had the privilege of inviting people from around the world to join the class—including participants from the UK, Uzbekistan, USA, and Australia—to share stories, places, and local food and culture. Initially, the students were quite shy, but our guests encouraged them to speak more. By the end of each year, the students expressed their desire to continue learning English and one day explore the world themselves. These moments filled us with joy.
Through these initiatives, we aim to bridge cultural gaps, foster education, and inspire a love for learning and exploration for the kids.

If you’re a food lover visiting Hanoi for the first time, we recommend taking the Hanoi food walking tour and The Hidden Hanoi Old Quarter Experience. For vegans and vegetarians, the Vegetarian Street Food & Stories of Hanoi is an excellent choice. If you’re a history buff or looking for a unique experience in Hanoi, consider the Stories from Vietnam War at not-to-go-alone areas tour.

For those who love coffee and history, the Coffee, History, and Architecture of the French Quarter tour is a must. Lastly, if you’re visiting Hanoi on a hot or rainy day, the Escape the Heat of Hanoi – Museum Experience is a great option.
